I had ordered this part in Jan 2023. The old one is still working just ordering it in case I don't find it.

Yes it takes a bit of strength to put the blade in the motor slot and to remove it but it still works. I would rather spend $16 than $600+ to get a new blender.

I really use it from grinding whole spices to making baby food. I dont even have to strain the baby food it grinds it that well.

I was ready to throw out my blender when my wife who is from Brazil said her family would never do such a thing. All kinds of shops in Brazil sell replacement parts most likely imported from China.
So I spent some time searching online and calling Oster to find replacement parts for a blender I have had for over 30 years and was told my model was obsolete. I was referred to this website where I found a kit containing everything I needed and a discount coupon that made it like new for about $13 bucks! After seeing a photo of what looked like a slightly different colored version of my same blender, posted by another happy customer who had replaced the same size jar listed in my kit as a separate item. I was convinced and ordered! So glad I did!!! Thanks guys! You're the best!! If you're like me and hate to throw away stuff that is built to last in favor of the cheap stuff that's put out by the same companies today... Don't even think twice!

you sent me a star adapter onthe bottom of the blender when the blender has a metal square .Is there a square adapter that fits on the the bottom of the glass part .What i need is the bottom of the blade part to be square .The star one seems to be wiggley ,not sitting firmly .
