4 Pack Blender Gasket Sealing Ring Replacement Part 083422-070-000 Compatible with Oster Blenders

I ordered these for my Oster Precise Blend 16 and they arrived today, suitably promptly. But they don't work. The point of a gasket is to provide a leak-proof seal, but when I tested these (three times) plain water leaked through within a minute. Between each test, I removed and re-installed the gaskets, making sure they were centered properly and that the parts were assembled to a tight fit. In all the years I've had this blender (at least 10 years, and perhaps longer) I've never had this problem, despite replacing the gaskets three times in the period. Very disappointing.

These O Rings were exactly what I needed to get my blender back up and running. Appreciated that I wasn't charged shipping, as well, for such an inexpensive item. Glad I found you!!

Great price and free shipping. Shipped promptly. Post Office tried to chew up my package, but the rings came through! Blender is 12+ years old and the original ring finally gave out. The new ones have small ridges and seal perfectly. Will order more replacement parts.

Different than the original gasket-O-ring, but usually seems to work to block leaking....
